Hi there!
Over the past few weeks, the entire group has been incredibly busy with the prepearations for our trip to South Africa. We have spent most of our time raising money for the school we're going to visit. The total amount of money raised is not known yet, but I'll be sure to post an update once we've donated the money.
Another part of the project is giving lessons to the children over there. In small groups, we have been crafting our lesson-plans, and we're confident we're going to give these people an unfogettable experience. Our lesson-plan mainly focusses on various aspects of Dutch Culture. Because the children we're planning on teaching are between the ages of 6 and 10, we've come up with the idea to play some educative games with them.
The last thing I would like to adress is that a small group of people (me included) have been working on a film of our school, for all the students of the Emiel Weder High School in South Africa. We're planning on giving them a good impression of our school. I have started the editing of this movie yesterday, and I hope to have it finished by the end of the week.
